The Gingerbread Man

Hazel and Clay had their preschool performance of The Gingerbread Man at this awesome place in Fort Calhoun.   It was well worth the drive.  The Giving Lake Ranch is a little hidden gem in the middle of nowhere.  Apparently, it is used mainly to host retreats for the owner who is a life coach.

Hazel was the little old lady baker from the story and did a great job "dressing the part" and remembering her lines!

Chasing the gingerbread man!

Clay was one of the farmers.  He was rockin' those overalls and didn't mind being carried around by an elf helper throughout his performance ;)

After the play, Santa made ANOTHER trip out to see the kids of Little Leaf.  He even remembered what some of them wanted from the day before at the fire station.  Pretty impressive!

Of course, decorating (and eating) gingerbread cookies was their favorite part!

Clay and his buddy Austin.
The adorable school house "North Pole" was set up for crafts.  Wyatt is working on his corncob pipe for his snowman kit and Hazel made a beautiful snowflake ornament.

The dads and their farmers
We had such a great time seeing all the kids perform.  They have worked hard to remember their parts and did a great job.  Little Leaf has been such a blessing in our lives!

Watch Hazel and Clay's performance here! - (I tried to record the whole thing but my phone did not have enough memory.  I KNEW I should have brought the video camera.  Lesson learned!!!)
