DC West Gingerbread House Party

Wyatt's preschool class had a Gingerbread House making party the day before Christmas break and I had the pleasure of helping.

Wyatt was super excited for me to eat breakfast with him.  On the way to school, he gave me a rundown of all the rules - which line to stand on, how to ask the teacher for help if you need it, how to clear your tray, etc.  Very important stuff when you are the new kid!

Mom is SOOO embarrassing!

Wyatt was a little impatient during the craft time and kept asking when we got to make the gingerbread houses.  I thought he was just excited to make his house.  Turns out he was just excited to EAT his house!  Luckily, it was pretty much a free candy buffet for the entire class ;)

I told him he couldn't eat his house until he brought it home and showed dad his hard work.  This was 3 seconds after Luke had seen it....and in Wyatt's words, "I am going to show this snowman who's the boss".  Where does he come up with this stuff!?
