Our local GRANDS (grandparents relating, advocating, & networking for Down syndrome) group put on their annual Santa visit at the Waterloo fire station. This event does NOT disappoint!
No lines. No mall parking lot. Just 20ish kids and their parents anxiously awaiting Santa's arrival on the fire truck. After Santa arrives, the kids all got to sit on his lap and he even handed out presents!
As if this was not enough, then the kids got to ride on the fire truck WITH Santa. Pure awesomeness.
Clay did not think Santa was awesome but he did have a good time checking out the truck, eating cookies, and playing with his pals.
