Toad Hunting!

Do I love toads?  No.  Do I love the pure joy they bring to Wyatt & Hazel?  Yes!

They love to run and check all of our toad holes multiple times a day and giggle with excitement as the toads hop away, back to safety in their holes.

We get lucky every now and then and catch one.  This means either I have to pick it up (a skill I am still perfecting) or Wyatt tricks them by getting them to hop into his net.

Chasing them around while they frantically hop to get away from us never seems to get old either ;)

Happy 96th Birthday, Aunt Esther!

Heart Hero Clay!

Last week, Clay got a "surprise" package in the mail.

There was a post card with a note saying it was from a group of 2nd graders from an elementary school in Omaha.  They had raised enough money selling suckers to have a "Heart Hero" cape made for Clay!

He must have got on a list after his surgery but I was not aware of this program so it was the most awesome surprise package ever!

Tis' the season!

Ah!!!!!  I am SOOO behind on blogging right now.

It seems like my life is moving in fast-forward speed.  In a recent conversation with Nickie, with both agreed that it would be awesome if one night of every week, we could just pull an all nighter with no sleep and not have to make it up later.  Wouldn't that be amazing!?!?  So much to do, so little time!

Where to even start!?!?  ...weddings!!!

I had 3 cousins get married in 2 months, in 3 different states (luckily for me - one was Nebraska).

It was crazy, hectic, and AWESOME!!!  ...like mini family reunions x3.  And the Tiedemans know how to party!

I am so sad they are over.  Who is next!?!?

Circus!

We took Wyatt & Hazel to see the Ringling Bros. Circus and it was AWESOME!  

Seriously....and this is coming from someone who is scared of clowns.  

They really put on a good show (with very little clown entertainment).  Wyatt & Hazel sat still through the whole thing so they must have been mesmerized, too!
